Under Wicked Crown

By Danica Avery

They call me Dash.
I don’t remember a lot about my old man.
All I know is that he was in a motorcycle club.
And they were involved in his death.
The Unforgiven Kings.
The club’s changed a lot since my pop was a King.
Hunter Conroy is calling the shots now.
If I want to join up, I’ll have to work my way up from the bottom.
Prove my worth.
There’s only one problem.
Hunter has a sister.
Bambi is as beautiful as she is fierce.
I know I need to stay away from her.
The way she looks at me…
One wrong move could ruin everything.
But the girl is drawn to me like a moth to a flame.
And if I’m not careful, we’re both going to get burned.

This gritty motorcycle club romance will keep you on the edge of your seat with high-stakes action, exciting twists, and fiery sexual tension between a brooding hero and a badass heroine. Ready to join the Unforgiven Kings?

Under Wicked Crown

From beginning to end, this story was amazing. Dash and Bambi were hot. She was a fierce woman who took no bull. He was hot and amazing. I loved the danger and chaos and in this story. From the very first chapter I was obsessed. I devoured this book in one sitting. There is no putting this down once you get started. It pulled me in immediately. The twists and turns were wild. That spice was spicing. An all around amazingly hot and chaotic story.

Good Read

I think this book shows a lot of promise. If the author decides to continue with the characters, I’m there because what this book promises is a good new series.

Bambi is awesome. She looks like a goth girl, but there’s a lot more to her than looks. It’s not all Red Bull and Cheetos, though. The bane of her life is the sexism inherent in the motorcycle club: because she’s female, she can’t be a member. Which is frustrating because she is tougher and more intelligent than several of the members, or at least more than Roman, whose competence is as questionable as his sobriety. (He makes a great character, by the way). I know that Dash is the main character, but I feel like Bambi stands out equally, if not more. She is a club princess, and I love stories about club princesses. Bambi serves to call out sexism. I don’t think she’d necessarily make a good MC president, as I don’t know that she has the temperament. But she would make a great club member. And that’s the tragedy of the book.

Dash is the MMC of the book, and he has a gift for finding trouble. He wants to be a part of the MC as the story begins, because his dad belonged, and he also wants redress for what happened to his dad. We learn more about that, and about Dash, as the story continues. Suffice it to say, he’s hot and he’s complicated, which is catnip to Bambi.

There is humor in the story as well. I laughed, loudly when Dash took Knox’s grandmother her medication. The whole situation was droll, especially when she kept confusing him for Knox, right up until she didn’t. That dog is an evil little creature, but the whole thing was very funny.
